Randy Merriman is currently the Director of Technology & Publisher Services, North America for Young Digital Planet SA, a leading international eLearning publisher and ePublishing solutions provider.
A 25-year veteran of K-12 educational publishing, Mr. Merriman has been responsible for the development of countless educational media and technology products for several leading K-12 publishers including Holt, Rinehart and Winston, Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, and Merrill Publishing. Randy has been involved in the planning and development of educational media products that have been used by millions of students and that have received over 30 national and international awards.
As an educational technology consultant Mr. Merriman has assisted several companies, including Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and National Geographic Digital Media with business development, developing their digital strategy for the education market, and digital development.
Randy has served as a member of the AAP Technology Committee, Texas Technology Advisory Board, on the Center for Applied Special Technologies Publishing Advisory Board, and as the National President of the Interactive Multimedia Industry Association.
