Michelle Meehan teaches seventh grade math at Kenmore Middle School in Arlington, Virginia. Kenmore is an Arts and Communications Technology Focus School and was recently recognized as SMART Technology’s first Showcase School of the Year as well as a SMART Elite School. Michelle is a SMART Exemplary Educator and has presented for SMART Technologies many times, including on Capitol Hill. She has served as a SMART Showcase teacher at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Annual Meeting and Exhibition. Michelle grew up in Tucson, Arizona. She earned a Bachelors in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Delaware and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree as a Mathematics Specialist from the University of Virginia.
